Serie A - Midweek

In midweek the Serie A offers the match between Palermo and Milan amongst others, with the match taking place at the Renzo Barbera, next Tuesday at 20:45. Given the uncertainty of the match outcome, Goal prediction is recommended rather than Full Time bets.

Here are the RiccoCasino odds for this match:

Palermo's only win came at home
The formation Rosanero is in 17th place in the standings with 7 points. Difficult to define the season of Palermo is an understatement. Only a win this year (4-1 at Chievo).

Milan have not won away from September 1
Delicate time for Milan, is heartened by 3 points won (barely) against the Gryphon, but worried by just 10 points scored in 9 league games. In addition, the team is not convincing in terms of the game.

Former Palermo - Milan encounters scare the Rossoneri
La Favorita stadium is not a friend of the Rossoneri. The 5-row of defeats AC Milan to Palermo was interrupted last year when the Rossoneri won 4-0 thanks to a masterful performance of Ibra.

Goal is the prediction Palermo Milan
Both teams are in a non-optimal state, and both need the three points. The point wouldn't do much for the two teams. That's why we recommend the goal prediction for this match

Before throwing in your bet or calling ..

Although improvement is possible with virtually every hand, most beginners forget that players with better hands can also improve their hands on the draw, and that eventually the player with the best hand before a draw is likely to have the best hand after the draw as well. Generally, if you have reason to believe that your opponent has a better hand than you at any point in one betting round, the appropriate action is to fold.

However, if the money in the pot is large compared to the bet required to be part of it (the "pot odds"), a call is possible. This is the case particularly when a player has a straight or flush draw. However, the approximate odds of hitting an "open staircase" in the next draw is 6-1, and the odds of making a flush are 5-1. As such, folding is recommended if the money you MIGHT win is less than the bet.

There's a difference between just listening to advice and applying it in practice .. The more hands you play, the more experience you gain, which helps you to improve your game-play level even without yourself noticing. Ways to improve your Poker

Overall, change strategy when there’s a change in the speed of the game. The key is to try and remain unpredictable.

For this reason, it is important to understand the elements around you and know how to react when these change. Professional poker players know instinctively when they have to change their style of play.
To prevent your game from becoming easily interpreted and allow your opponents considerable advantage, for example by not calling your bets, thinking that you have a good hand each time you bet, then it is time to change style and take over.
Play faster and be more aggressive if the hand you have is a pretty strong one, and do the opposite if you previously have attacked a great number of pots without having strong hands.

Moreover you've got to gain more experience by playing more hands. How is this achieved? Simply play more! More tournaments, more players, more cash.. the more experience you gain! Open an account here

Phil Hellmuth Winner of 2012 WSOP Europe Main Event

His 13th WSOP Bracelet and €1,022,376 prize come less than four months after winning his 12th WSOP Bracelet also this year.  "I'm really trying to keep my head down the last couple of years", "I'm playing my best", Hellmuth states ..
After sending Girault home with a straight on the river and other eliminations from the final table, Hellmuth finds his way heads-up with Sergii Baranov.
Hellmuth holding {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} raised by 300,000. Baranov replied by moving all-in holding an {A-Spades}, which Helmuth quickly called.

The flop the cards fell: {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}...with an {A-Diamonds} on the turn pairing both players and as the {3-Clubs} striking the river, Baranov sent home with the €632,593 and Hellmuth a winner.

" I'm ALL-IN "

One of the favorite moves of poker players is definitely an all-in in pre-flop. Although many may think that this action would not, help you obtain the results that you would instead applying a fair and efficient strategy post-flop, this move is rather of great value when applied with adequate knowledge of the facts.

One of the occasions you may opt to go all-in is In the late stages of a tournament:

If you've played fairly tight throughout the duration of the tournament, most likely your opponents will have guessed that you like only come into play with really good hands. But once you have created in their belief that you can exploit fine maneuvering eligible to win pots without showdown that will arrive, such as steal and re-steal. An example of its application would be when you are on the button and all the players who precede decide to fold. In this case you may very well push A-x suited or any pair, provided, however, that everything is done against players who have proven to be a sensible minimum. Always remember that to call an all-in is definitely different from make one.

Texas Hold'em is all about experience and skill combined with the luck-factor, the more hands you play the better poker player you become, even if you don't realise. Play on 3 poker networks at Ricco Casino, giving you a €10 Bonus upon registering and a guaranteed awesome online-gaming experience!

Weekend .. Betting!

FOOTBALL

Let's have a look at the some of the great matches we're about to have this weekend ..

In addition to the above we'd like to add Seville vs. Barcelona, with the latter having a 5-out-of-5 match winning streak. Apart from Valencia, none of the other 4 matches were against promising teams and against Osasuna, Barcelona just scraped a 1-2 win thanks to Lionel Messi (one of the goals should've been called off for offside)

Parma vs AC Milan is another well-balanced pair, as we see Allegri's side emerging from just their first win this week against Cagliari, hoping to make the most of this match to inject some confidence & belief within the team.

WPT DAY3 - Gruissem hits a straight on the Turn

Gruissem claimed one of the largest pots of the day to repeat his role as chip leader. On a flop that read T 9 8, Gruissem checked from the small blind and Ekrem Sanioglu bet 28,000 on the button. Gruissem check-raised close to 100,000 and Sanioglu moved all in. Gruissem tanked for a while but he eventually called. Their cards:
Gruissem: J J
Sanioglu: 9 9

Turn and River: 3 and 7

Gruissem hit a straight on the turn to bust Sanioglu and the German professional was up to 930,000 after the hand.

Recalling Day 4 of the WSOP 2012 - Main Event

. . . .   moments worth recalling
Karam Crushed: Action folded around to Dan Dizenzo on the button and he raised to 16,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, which prompted Marc Karam to move all in for 169,000 from the big blind with {K-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Dizenzo made a quick call and was primed to score the knock out.

“My first time all in this tournament,” Karam said. That was followed by an “Ouch,” when the flop fell {3-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. The {K-Diamonds} turn left Karam drawing dead, while the {J-Hearts} river sent him home in 378th place for $32,871.

God Save the Moorman: At an outer table, there was 1,021,000 in the pot on a flop of {6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Chris Moorman held the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} but was up and preparing to exit as Patrick Halter held the far superior {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Neither the {4-Hearts} turn nor {10-Hearts} river helped Moorman, and the Brit gave us a wave as he made his way to the payout desk in 358th place to collect $32,871.

The Legendary Johnny Chan: In another hand at the outer tables, two-time Main Event winner Johnny Chan was all in preflop holding {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and in bad shape against the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades} of Isaac Baron. With 1,085,000 on the line, the dealer burned and put out the flop — {10-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, a disaster for Chan as Baron flopped top set. The {9-Spades} turn gave Chan a little hope for a chop, but the {6-Spades} river was not what he needed. Chan took a swig of his water, grabbed his humongous red bag, and then exited the Amazon Room in 353rd place.

A New Chip Leader: Paul Volpe, a 30-year old from Philadelphia with $113,633 in WSOP cashes, began Day 4 10th in chips, and things only seemed to go his way as the day progressed. For example, with 254,000 in the pot and a flop of {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Volpe checked {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to Sean Rice, who held {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} on the button. The latter checked, the {10-Clubs} turned, and Volpe fired out 150,000 with his flush. Rice made the call drawing dead, and the {K-Hearts} river was danger as it gave him useless trips. Volpe wasted little time moving all in, and after thinking for a few moments, Rice called off his last 481,000. With that hand, Volpe became the new chip leader with 3.184 million and was primed to improve upon his 192nd-place finish in the 2011 WSOP Main Event.

Deeb Dusted; Buchman Looking for Another November Nine: A short-stacked Shaun Deeb was all in preflop for 114,000 holding {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and out in front of the {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} of Eric Buchman, who you may recall as a member of the November Nine in 2009. Deeb sat silently while receiving a massage and didn’t react much when the flop fell {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades} followed by the {10-Hearts} on the turn; however, when the {K-Spades} spiked on the river to give Buchman the win, Deeb shot out of his chair and exited in 319th place for $32,871. Meanwhile, Buchman was looking to become the first repeat November Niner — or in this case an October Niner.
